I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These novels are in varied conditions, but both with attached spines and great or better inside pages (photo#16 example). Volume 2 has few and lesser signs of wear, while Volume 3 has more numerous flaws - although most of them are still on the lighter side and affecting its externals. All are described below. Their only collective flaw is some sticker residue (photos#12,13,14 w/illumination, might come off; I prefer not to mess with them). Due to eBay's photo limit, with lots involving multiple books, I am not able to show the detailed looks I try to maintain, so if you would like any extra photos of a specific description/book, feel free to let me know! The TL;DR versions of each book's condition below is in blue italics, with the more in-depth collectors' paragraphs below them.

Any reference to certain areas of books can be seen in the photos above. The sections are:
*Photo#4: Upper spine corner
*Photo#5: Lower spine corner
*Photo#6: Front cover top edge/outer corner
*Photo#7: Front cover bottom edge/outer corner
*Photo#8: Back cover top edge/outer corner
*Photo#9: Back cover bottom edge/outer corner

Abbreviations Glossary (I've been listing more and more of my books and thought this would save some time..)
*USC: Upper spine corner
*LSC: Lower spine corner
*FTOC: Front cover's top outer corner
*FBOC: Front cover's bottom outer corner
*BTOC: Back cover's top outer corner
*BBOC: Back cover's bottom outer corner

**Vol 2Good to very good condition, with a solid spine and excellent overall inside pages. Other than 1 cover crease and 1 outer corner crease, few and lesser signs of primarily external wear. USC has very light scuffing, and a small peel/tear where it meets the back cover. LSC has light scuffing/indenting, with an adjacent light ~2" crease on the adjacent front cover (photo#10 w/illumination), shows on ~10 pages as 2 small indents. Front and back covers' top edges have little if any shelf-scuffing/wear other than 2 tiny scuffs on the front near its middle. Their bottom edges have some light shelf-scuffing/wear along them, with 2 additional small scuffs/indents on each around their middles. FTOC and BBOC possess tiny indents/scuffs/bends, they go thru ~1/2 and ~1/3 pages, respectively, as light bends. FBOC has a small crease/scuff/bend (photo#11 w/illumination), goes thru ~10 pages as a light indent, and thru ~1/3 as a light bend. BTOC has a tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/2 pages as a light bends. Back cover has a ~1.5"~1" patch of sticker residue near the bottom edge (photo#12 w/illumination - might come off; I prefer not to mess with them). Some light scratches around the cover's lower half.

**Vol 3: Decent external condition but good overall reading condition, with an attached spine and great overall inside pages. It has numerous signs of cover wear including some cover indents/creases, although most of the wear is lighter and affecting its externals. USC has light scuffing/indenting. LSC has a tiny peel where it meets the front cover, and a small ding where it meets the back cover that causes a small peel/tear, and a ~1/2" indent and light ~1.5" crease on the adjacent back cover. Front and back covers' top edges have some shelf-scuffing/wear/indents along them. Their bottom edges have more moderate levels around their middles, with an adjacent ~3/4" indent/depression on the front cover near the LSC (photo#13 w/illumination). FTOC and FBOC possess tiny indents/scuffs/bends, they go thru ~15 pages as light indents, and ~1/3 pages as a light bend. BTOC has a ~1/2" scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/3 pages as a light bend. BBOC has a ~2" crease around it (photo#14 w/illumination). Small/light indent/scuff/bend at extreme corner, goes thru ~6 pages throughout as a corner fold, and ~20 as a light bend. Front cover has two ~1/2" spine edge indents/depressions (photo#15 w/illumination). Light ~1.5" vertical indent/scratch near cover's lower half. ~1"x~1" patch of sticker residue near the bottom edge (photo#13 w/illumination - might come off; I prefer not to mess with them). Another similar residue on back cover near bottom edge (photo#14 w/illumination). Back cover also has ~6 tiny indents/scratches/depressions around its lower half. Spine adhesive is beginning to lose its effectiveness where it meets at the last inside page, but is still attached.

I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs - either message me before completing purchase for a pre-payment price adjustment, or alternatively I can provide a refund afterwards. Thanks, and have a tremendous day!
