Antique Early 19c Georgian Rose Gold Hardstone Cameo Ring. This is a lovely old ring, very wearable and although very slightly misshapen as shown, it is in good condition. It would date from around 1820 I would guess but it is unmarked. It tests quite definitely as above 14ct gold and could be just about 18ct gold. Probably originally made as a memorial or mourning ring although this one is not actually inscribed with an obituary. Weight is 4.9 grams approx (gross). Lovely gentle old rose gold colour, typical of Georgian jewellery. Size is approximately N.
