Each bid is for ONE sample of Devonian microconcentrate rich in conodont remains.

The material is all from the Beechwood Limestone of Indiana and is upper Devonian in age. The images show the a typical sample spread out in a 2x2 inch plastic sorting tray. We have looked at a typical sample and have counted over 100 conodonts in the sample. Comes with a colour ID card as shown so you can identify many of the specimens found. Housed in a small gel capsule similar in size to a vitamin tablet but it is rich in fossils.

Species discovered in the material include Hibarella, Polygnathus, Hindeodella and Icriodus. There are also occasional fish teeth and coprolites, although these are rare. We cannot guarantee what species will be in any sample, but every sample does have dozens of conodont teeth.

This is rarely seen but wonderful material suitable for any collector with a microscope.
