A comprehensive book with photos and descriptions of Modern Japanese Swordsmiths and their Swords. With black & white photographs of swords and their makers. In its original dust jacket, this book is accompanied by a receipt dated 1977, when sold by Japanese book dealer Alan Bale.

The dust jacket shows signs of wear and tear commensurate with age with some tears and losses, but it has protected the book which is in very good condition.

The binding is strong with no loose pages, with no bends, creases, tears or repairs noted.
