A fine antique Chinese Yixing Zisha cylindrical shaped red clay teapot decorated with impressed designs and Chinese character marks filled in yellow with shaped loop handle and short raised spout. The teapot has a lift out tea strainer with a recessed fitted cover with a shaped loop handle. The teapot has an unusual impressed mark to the base.

Offered in very good condition with usual wear associated with age, with a couple of small chips to the inside rim, spout having wear, shrinkage marks to the body when fired and an hairline.  The strainer having a chip to the inside rim, and the lid having top and a couple of tiny nicks to the edge.
