This issue of Vogue is always sought after and increasingly rare because the cover model Gia Carangi has become a cult figure after her untimely death in 1986. A highly successful model she had become addicted to heroin, contracted HIV and died very young. A tragic end for such a beautiful young woman. In excellent condition this is a rare find.
This is the DARE issue - Dare to be different, Dare to be black and blue etc and it produced numerous fabulous fashion shots by this era's noted photographers Alex Chatelain (13 pages) and Albert Watson (8pages) see photo of contents page

This vintage magazine has a cover which is very smooth and clean and bright. The spine is white and complete.
The much reduced price reflects the missing page and the gaps in the internal spine.
STILL IN VOGUE has a policy of honesty in the description of the vintage and used magazines we sell. This may work against us in that we draw attention to damage and it sounds much worse than it is.
