6 IV Shiny Raid Counter Sets for 7 Star Charizard Raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for Nintendo Switch

Blast through the Charizard raid with a bunch of different strategies! *Shiny, Level 100, EV trained, beneficial nature, perfect 31 IVs across the board!
You can request a different held item if you'd like.
*Volcanion and Keldeo will not be shiny

SOLO SETS

Sylveon (F) @ Covert Cloak
IVs: 0 Atk
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Ability: Pixilate
Tera Type: Fairy
Modest Nature
- Hyper Beam
- Fake Tears
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss

Start off the raid with a calm mind, then try to use Fake Tears 3 times to weaken Charizard before the shield goes up. Remember that once the shield goes up, Fake Tears will fail, so get them up ASAP! Use Draining Kiss whenever you need to recover some health. When Charizard's HP hits 70%, all the stats will be reset. This is when you want to get 5 or 6 Calm Mind boosts. Start using Hyper Beam when you have enough calm minds set up.

Flutter Mane @ Covert Cloak
IVs: 0 Atk
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fairy
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Fake Tears
- Moonblast
- Draining Kiss

Same principle as the Sylveon build. Start off the raid with a calm mind, then try to use Fake Tears 3 times to weaken Charizard before the shield goes up. Remember that once the shield goes up, Fake Tears will fail, so get them up ASAP! Use Draining Kiss whenever you need to recover some health. When Charizard's HP hits 70%, all the stats will be reset. This is when you want to get 5 or 6 Calm Mind boosts. Start using Hyper Beam when you have enough calm minds set up.

Primarina (F) @ Expert Belt
IVs: 0 Atk
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Ability: Torrent
Tera Type: Fairy
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Misty Terrain
- Draining Kiss
- Moonblast

The advantage of Primarina is that it has a great typing for this raid. The disadvantage is that this set doesn't have stat reducing moves. Misty terrain will help you avoid secondary effects like burns and confusion. Boost with Calm Mind and use Moonblast to victory!

Fezandipiti (M) @ Covert Cloak
IVs: 0 Atk
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Ability: Toxic Chain
Tera Type: Fairy
Modest Nature
- Roost
- Acid Spray
- Nasty Plot
- Moonblast

Once again, the principle of the set is very similar to the Sylveon and Flutter Mane sets, where you reduce Charizards stats and boost your own to get the KO with Moonblast after you've boosted enough. In this case Acid Spray will be used as the stat reducer and the advantage is that it can be used even when the shield goes up. Nasty Plot will be your stat raising move, and Roost can be used to recover health to keep your Pokemon from fainting.

Azumarill (F) @ Shell Bell
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpD
Ability: Huge Power
Tera Type: Fairy
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Misty Terrain
- Light Screen
- Play Rough

Go for Belly Drum and damage Charizard with Play Rough. Then set up Light Screen and Misty Terrain. This set is faster to setup than the other choices, but it may not be as consistent, but it's still a great option!

How to trade in Scarlet and Violet:
  1. Load up Pokemon Scarlet or Violet on Switch.
  2. Open the game menu by pressing X, then select ‘Poke Portal‘ on the right side menu.
  3. Select ‘Link Trade‘
  4. Enter the 8 digit code we decide on
  5. Select ‘Begin Searching‘ and, provided the Link Codes match, you should connect.
  6. Receive your new Pokemon!
