Pre-owned but in new, never used condition. Please note that a sugar bowl doesn't come with a lid. I don't know what happened to the lid. We moved, and I just couldn't find it. That is the reason for calling it an open sugar bowl. It is still a great, well made set of handmade Polish pottery (priced accordingly).
