1975 K Yairi YW-800

Fully handcrafted in Gifu, Japan.

Early horizontal logo type. Very rare guitar, made of Brazilian rosewood on the back and sides. Spruce top, 1 piece mahogany neck.

Grover gold tuners.

It has been played for years and has signs of use. It’s been loved and it’s seen many concert halls in Japan and in the UK.

There are many signs of use, scratches, dents, scratches, discoloration, etc.

But the guitar is fully playable, very full tone, balanced all around the neck.

There are no large irregularities on the frets,

They are in good condition.

String height:

1st string 12F approximately 2.0mm

1st string 12F approx. 2.2mm

Saddle: Approximately 2.8mm between 3.4 strings

Truss rod operation is confirmed.

I was able to tighten and loosen it. The neck is very comfortably set up and the whole guitar plays very smoothly all over.

I replaced the strings and did a light cleaning.

Hard case included.

There is a bit of surface rust on the metal fittings.

Manufacturer not listed. No key.

This is an old guitar that is almost 50 years old and it’s got plenty of life and gigs left in it as long as you look after it well and keep it in a sane environment.
