The wood is JUST ABOUT 1/2" thick. Condition: The piece has lots of wear and tear. There's some rusting to the metal elements (the eye hooks that it hangs from, for example, as well as the hooks). There's lots of areas of cracked, chipped, and missing paint. I have attempted to highlight the imperfects carefully in photographs for your consideration.
