Your Choice of Ram Ejector Arm Included.

You need one Ram Ejector Arm per press. You don't need a Ram Ejector Arm with each set of your dies.

If you have an RCBS press, choose the RCBS Style, and that can be used with all of your Checkmaker die calibers. If you decide to use a LEE then choose a LEE style. The only time you need more than one ejector arm is if you want to use your RCBS and LEE presses (and other brands). Then you would need one each, otherwise it's an option extra.

What Reloading Press can I use?

Any reloading press will make gas checks with Checkmaker dies.

A Ram Ejector Arm automatically ejects the gas check from the female die once its formed. This works only in a slotted ram press. Our ejector arms work with most presses using two (2) different styles. Our LEE style is one, and RCBS style is another. (see operation instructions on how the ejector arm works).Many shooters make their own or modify their primer arm (factory arm), by removing the primer cup.

Proven performers are: All RCBS Rockchuckers, RCBS Rockchucker JR., LEE Classic Cast Turret, LEE Classic Cast Single, LEE Challenger Breach Lock Single. Lyman Orange Crusher, T-Mag, Lyman Spartan. The Hornady press factory primer arms work with with the primer cup removed. Many shooters have made up their own ejector for their model press.

Redding T-7 and Big Boss presses- Both the T-7 and Big Boss presses work with the existing primer arm, by removing the primer seater cup from the arm. It is held firm at the bottom of the arm with an Allen set screw. By pushing the sleeve and spring down on the primer seater, a pair of pliers can easily unscrew it.

Info on metals:

Please be careful selecting metals. Metal tempered to hard can damage your dies. Not all metal is suitable for making gas checks. Proceed carefully and find metals that work.

PB stands for (plain base) or flat base, as in plain base molds with no gas check shank allowing you to use thin metals such as soda cans (.004 - .010 depending on metals and mold) and they perform like gangbusters with no leading and great accuracy. PB checks swage into the base of any non gas check shank mold with your lube sizer.

My other dies are for gas check shank molds and are optimized for .014 thick metals, and work with a wide range of molds just like any standard gas check. Accuracy results have met and exceeded factory gas checks over the years.

Hi Pat, Got the Gas check maker on Mar 23.  Yesterday Mar 24 we tried it out and I only had ONE drink can hahaha ..  We got it to working and it did JUST FINE ...  It makes very nice gas checks for the 44.40 we are going to use it on ..WE tried on TWO different bullets and it fits JUST FINE. We did have some trouble with the ejector but I think we can work thru it ..  A VERY NICE TOOL and WELL MADE It has pretty close tolerances, it should last many years .. we are VERY SATISFIED with the tool ..

Dear Pat, you made me 3 dies last year right after all this bull?? started. These dies have saved my hobby as I could not find gas checks anywhere. The checks I make are far superior to most I have purchased on line. I receive my  new Checkmaker Dies in  .243 and 45 caliber. 

Like the another one, I go, so  quick as possible, to test  them.
The dies made very  nice  gas  check  and they  fit  perfectly the bullets  shanks. 
They  should be so accurate than the another one in .22 and .30 caliber.
