On offer here is this antique German carved wooden figure lamp.

Made in Germany sometime in the 1920s 1930s. 

This carved decorative figure wooden carving was a ceiling lamp. It is carved in great detail and represents a German mountaineer dressed in traditional old German mountaineering gear with lederhosen, six socks, walking boots and a hat, he  who would have a rope hanging from the ceiling passing through his hands lovely old old platted electrical flex that looks like rope finishing in a wooden lantern type  lamp, suspended beneath him. (See the last few pictures.) 

this listing is just for the carved figure of the mountaineer there is no lead or lamp, but these are fairly easy to find. When complete. These lovely lamps can command very high prices, I’ve shown a couple of listings from other platforms on the Internet.  

Condition 

is excellent, a few aging cracks across the back, but these are stable don’t see them getting any worse.
