starting at the top, there is a classical grotesque mask, possibly Bacchus. His tongue turns into a ribbon with a bow and suspended from the ribbon or a classical theatrical mask. Roman infantry uniform quiver of arrows helmet, and body armour, finishing in a stylised honeysuckle it is mounted on a piece of walnut.  

Condition

 is very good, even colour and fantastic Patina.
