Here we offer a Lima Class 47 which has been extensively re-worked, repainted and weathered to represent loco number 47 706. I suspect that 'Bachman 31-653Z - Class 47, debranded with NSE flashes' may have been the model on which this re-work was base. I originally wrote 'The rework has been done to a fair standard - it looks as though boxes and mouldings under the chassis may have been move and reglued in slightly defferent places; the weathering is rather unsubtle; there are indications that there may have been a nameplate on this loco at one time'  Now that I have reviewed it against the Bachman model (£170!!) I can see what the previous owner was trying to achieve and he/she was more than half way there. Loco runs Ok but with slight hesirtation in one direction. I would think that this could be resolved with a few minutes running on a tail chaser track.
