Circa 1986. The New York Museum contracted Schrade to make this knife to commemorate the refurbishing of the statue of liberty. 15000 were made. The serial number on this knife is 7095. The front of the handle has a sterling silver shield marked with the seal of the New York Museum., s/n 102xx but this is missing on this knife.
