Bowl               


We are selling this Chinese pale celadon and famille rose dish. This football shaped dish has raised sides with lobes to mimic a lotus leaf. It is decorated on the interior with floral sprays with crickets or cicadas and has gilt veins to copy the lotus leaf. The base is signed with a Tongzhi reign mark but may be early 20th century.

Condition:Some wear to the gilding. There is a spiderweb hairline on the base of the bowl not visible in the interior.
