information and descriptions of the sports cars produced by British car builders
from 1900 to 1947, containing many long defunct manufacturers.
Many of the 96 makes which are described proceeded little further than the
experimental stage but they, with those that have remained, have provided a
basis upon which the modern sports car has been modeled.
The book is arranged alphabetically, illustrated with 79 black and white photos
and with many full page 'adverts' of the car manufacturers at the back of the
book
