The OMEGA Seamaster is the most popular gents watch in the world, originally famous due to the association with the 'James Bond, Goldeneye', it has since established itself as a cornerstone of the OMEGA catalogue. This current chronograph example in Stainless Steel is a showstopper, and will make you smile every time you look at your wrist.
This stunning Seamaster Chronograph features a bold and masculine 44mm Stainless Steel case which wears with significant wrist presence, being 17mm thick and having a lug-to-lug measurement of 52mm. The lugs are polished on the outer angles and use a brushed finish on the front-facing facets, playing with the light in all the right ways. Affixed to the case itself is a Stainless Steel, ratcheted unidirectional rotating scallop-edged bezel, inlaid with a polished blue ceramic bezel that features an enamel diving scale and a luminous bezel pearl at 12.
The heartbeat of the watch comes from the in-house OMEGA Master Chronometer Cal. 9900, which in essence is the best movement OMEGA currently produces. With a silicon balance spring, column wheel chronograph and METAS certification on top, it is at the cutting edge of horological excellence.
The dial needs no introduction and is classic ‘Seamaster’, the return of the 'wave' pattern on the dial has been lauded by aficionados, this example has a gorgeous high gloss zirconium oxide ceramic blue/grey dial with assorted luminous hour markers. Of course, there are two clear symmetrical chronograph subdials and a date aperture at 6 O’Clock
Affixing the head of the watch to the wrist is the classic ‘rail’ style bracelet, in solid stainless steel with brushed and highly polished finishes, fastened with the original OMEGA double-pinch release deployant clasp, adjustable for your comfort.
If we turn the watch over, we are presented with a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback which reveals the beautiful finishing on the Cal.9900 where we can see the Geneva waves in arabesque.
This is an ex-display piece and therefore has never been worn, it may show some extremely gentle signs of wear from being moved around the boutique but it is in immaculate condition as per the photographs. You won't find a better example anywhere, this is a huge saving on the RRP which is £8,100. It was purchased in October 2023 so will come with the remainder of the 5 year manufacturers warranty.
Along with the watch itself comes the full OMEGA box and papers dated October 2023, an invoice for your purchase and a certificate showing the serial has a clean history.
