Thanks for viewing my sale for a pristine, original release of the Bay City Rollers "ONCE UPON A STAR", imported from England in the late ‘70s, their 3rd album, released when the group was going supernova in 1975 and which featured the charted hit “Bye Bye Baby”; weirdly, this album was never released in the USA, so most tracks were not readily available making it kind of rare 

CONDITION: UNPLAYED NEW OLD STORE STOCK (NOS) 33⅓ rpm vinyl record in strong MINT MINUS (M-) condition; album cover in strong VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) condition, showing slight shelf wear and aging but overall nearly new looking / for best view, please supersize photo of representative example at the very top of  this webpage and examine all 7 pictures carefully for condition / see photo for track listing.

Originally  BCR were "the first of many acts heralded as the 'biggest group since the Beatles' and one of the most screamed-at teeny-bopper acts of the 1970s". During "Rollermania", the lads were worldwide teen idols and by 1975 were one of the best selling British bands. The group's line-up featured numerous changes over the years, but the classic line-up during its heyday included guitarists Eric Faulkner, Woody Wood, singer Les McKeown, bassist Alan Longmuir, and drummer Derek Longmuir. After purchasing the Bell Records label, this was the first Rollers album the legendary Clive Davis released on his fledgling Arista Records, which thanks partially to this album became a record industry powerhouse.
