Today I am offering this set of 4 vintage 1996 THIRSTYSTONE COASTERS with a Native American Pacific Northwest Totem Pole design. They are brand new, unused in the original box.

This awesome boxed set of 4 THIRSTYSTONE COASTERS is made of 75 million year old sandstone according to the package.

They were manufactured in the USA and are a product of Desert Sandscapes in Tucson, Arizona. The box is dated 1996, so they are new old stock.

Each coaster measures approx 4" in diameter x ½" thick. They have the same image on each one of a colorful Pacific Northwest Totem Pole scene. The undersides have attached cork. They have never been used.

Totem poles are monuments created by First Nation People of the Pacific Northwest to represent and commemorate ancestry, histories, people, or events.

Totem poles are typically created out of red cedar, a malleable wood relatively abundant in the Pacific Northwest, and would be erected to be visible within a community.

From the manufacturer:

These coasters are cut from the finest most absorbent sandstone found in the Western United States. The unusual nature of this porous sandstone literally drinks up messy drips from beverages without leaking onto furniture and will not stick to the bottom of glass, bottle, can, etc, when you pick up your drink.

Thirstystone requires little to no care. Variations in the stone color and pattern are natural and make each coaster individual and unique.

There is no reason to use any other coaster now that THIRSTYSTONE is here. This is a 100% natural product made in the USA.
