Antique "Pince-Nez" pinch nose eyeglasses in hard case. Oval lenses are set in silver metal with a "C bridge" tension bar and cork nose pads. Features a black ribbon lanyard with a gold filled clasp that hooks onto the glasses, and a slide on the lanyard that I am unsure of the metal. The clasp is marked "RJH & Co". There are no other marks that I can see on the glasses, case, or slide. The metal case closes securely and is covered with a faux leather on the exterior and velvety material inside.
Antique item in good condition with wear and tarnish expected of the materials and age. The nose pads are a bit dry and there is wear to the case. The lenses are overall very clear and subjectively magnify a bit more than my +1 readers. Please see photos.
