EXCEPTIONNALY RARE Left GRIP FOR COLT 1911A1.

It seems to be a PROTOTYPE or a limited quantity made by COLT, designed " COLTROCK GRIP" , with a "plate" face.

It's plate (no concave or convex).

It have "fiber cloth" inside that is typical to COLT production " COLTROCK" first model GRIP for COLT 1911A1 and to a production circa 1930-1944.

I don't find a book that reference this "plate grip" with fiber cloth inside. 

But it's typical of COLT manufactured "COLTROCK" developpment grip made with resin & fiber cloth inside, and typical material that we found on the first model COLTROCK Grip.
