Up for sale is a great example of one of Nikon's early classic fast prime lenses, the Nikkor-S 50mm f/1.4.
One of the most popular fast primes of all time, this lens helped established Nikon's reputation for great image quality, with wonderful colors, great depth of field control, and biting sharpness stopped down.
Nice vintage condition with moderate exterior wear and excellent mechanics. Front coatings have scattered cleaning marks. Glass is otherwise free of scratches/haze/fungus. Small dent in filter ring that has been bumped out (filters mount correctly).

This lens features the Nikon Pre-Ai F mount which can be used natively on early Nikon film SLRs and a limited number of Nikon DSLRs (full manual only) without modification. If you are unsure whether it will work on your camera, please feel free to contact me for guidance.
It also can easily be adapted for manual use on most other popular DSLR, and mirrorless formats with an inexpensive adapter ring (sold separately, see chart below for digital compatibility).
