c 1920-29 Foley China (Elijah Brain and Co Ltd) hand painted, art deco tea trio pattern #306.

E Brain and Co produced at the old Foley China pottery works in Fenton, Staffordshire from 1903 to 1963.

This brilliant trio bears brilliantly detailed, hand painted border of Grecian key design in black and lavish gold on a lustrous, bright white background.

Dimensions:
Cup 6.2 cm tall and 10.5 cm across from edge of cup to outer edge of the handle.
Saucer 14 cm diameter.
Side plate 18 cm diameter.

The saucer and side plate are in very good original antique condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration that I can identify.
However the cup has a glaze fault on the handle, refer image 5.
The gilding on all surfaces is in excellent condition but the outer rims are rubbed with age.
There are random glaze and kiln spots, typical of china manufactured at this time and the manual processes involved.

All pieces bear the Foley China England and E Brain and Co Ltd back stamps, only the saucer bears the hand painted pattern #306.

I have listed 6 good condition sets separately, along with 5 others with faults, a sugar bowl, and a damaged serving plate.
