The reverse of the plaque has a detailed paragraph explaining the details of the model -

“COTRE DE CARANTEC..

The coasts of Carantes are robust and very tilled Gusqu' boats at 80 m of sail) intended for fishing for traps and nets in the Morlair hedge.

They were built in the 1930s to 1950s at different Carante shipyards.”
