Antique D W De Freest salt gaze stoneware beer bottle with a cobalt blue hand painted "R" on one side and debossed "D W DE FREEST" on the other side. There is a small hole drilled into the back bottom side of the bottle with what appears to be a plastic tube inside. My guess is that this bottle was modified and used as a table lamp at some point.

The bottle stands 10 1/2" tall and weighs just under 3 lbs. It is in good condition, consistent with the age of the piece. There is some chipping around the rim edging. There is also a small hairline fracture on the bottom (outside); however, it appears superficial. There is a small on the lower back side (as mentioned above). Otherwise, it is in good condition with no additional notable damage.

I tried to capture overall condition in pictures, so please review all photos as they are part of the description.
