Those of us who love Viking Glass know how rare and hard it is to find a Gypsy Rose!

Why is the Rose rare? 

According to Preston Ver Meer, "the local people that worked for Viking and Antique Dealers in the New Martinsville, West Virginia area said they were tough to make and many broke as they came out of the mold".

GYPSY ROSE was not shown in Dean Six "Viking Glass" book because they were not made until 1971. His book only covered Viking Glass to 1970.

This Persimmon #7121 Gypsy Rose is in great vintage condition!

This piece has one "microchip" that I couldn't even see but felt when I ran my finger over the glass. The camera couldn't capture that "microchip".
