This is a large pottery vase believed to have been made in West Germany by Bay Keramik and dating from the 1960s or 1970s. The vase is decorated to the outside with a pattern in shades of matt brown, rust/tan and beige and the inside has a mustard yellow glossy glaze. The vase measures approximately 20.5cm (8") in diameter across the widest part, 13cm (5") in diameter across the top and bottom sections and 29cm (11.5") in height.
There is a small chip to the glaze just inside the upper rim of the vase as shown in some of the close up photos however due to its position it is not too noticeable. Apart from this the vase is in good overall condition with no other damage and just a few minor surface marks or scuffs however nothing particularly obvious.
