This R.F.D. America figurine was passionately collected by my mom. It was proudly displayed in a smoke-free, pet-free house and was recently moved to a climate-controlled storage unit. I am honored to offer it now for sale.
Lowell Davis lived near Carthage, Missouri, in Rural Free Delivery America. He was considered the 'Norman Rockwell of Rural Art' as his pieces reflect the simple country life of times past. These figures are collectible, handsome decorations, and a great gift Idea.
Every care has been taken to preserve these beautiful figurines. They will be tissue and bubble wrapped and shipped tightly packed in biodegradable packing peanuts. I am happy to combine shipping, please just wait before paying so I can send an invoice. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Running rabbit trap lines with my dog was one of the highlights of my growing up years on the farm and on a snowy day, my dog Hook and I still like to run trap lines this way. The wooden trap doesn't hurt the rabbit and when I release it, Hook always loves to give chase. Although he's never caught a rabbit, trapping gives us a chance to get outdoors on one of God's most beautiful types of days.
