This card is extremely difficult to find raw or graded! It was issued in 2001 in just his second professional season when Cabrera played for the A level Kane County Cougars of the Midwest League. He was just 18 years old and considered a Marlins Top Prospect at the time. The card was produced as part of a special promotion team set sponsored by Connie's Pizza, a Chicago-based restaurant established in 1963. The standard team set from 2001 uses a slightly larger version of the same photo along with some different artwork and shows the team logo in the bottom right corner. The Connie's Pizza card shows the team logo in the upper right corner with "2001 Kane County Cougars" and "The Next Generation" printed around the top and bottom of the logo respectively. The back of the Connie's pizza card also is completely different from the standard team set card back and includes a second photo. Cabrera has had a stellar 21-year MLB career and will retire at the end of this season. There is no doubt he will be elected to the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Invest now!
