Antique 209 Year Old Pair of Scottish Provincial Large Solid Silver Serving spoons, hallmarked In Edinburgh 1815 (Robert had to send all of his silverware to be assayed there as there wasn't an assay office In PERTH) .

By the silversmith ROBERT KEAY I of Perth, Registered in PERTH from1812 to 1828, making these a very collectable and much sought after pair of serving spoon's.

The Serving Spoons are 23.5cm/9.25 inches Long, and weighs 154gms combined, they are monogrammed to the handle's with the possible JM over BJ, please see picture's to decipher for yourself.

The Hallmarks are clearly struck, the spoon's are made from a good gauge of silver.

The condition is very good Antique condition, minor dinks no dents splits or repairs, surface scratching which would easily polish out, though I believe they give the spoon character, the bowl's are showing little or no sign of wear.
