This YAS-23 Yamaha alto saxophone is a bit of a fixer upper, but it’s all there!

If you’re looking at this instrument you probably already know the heritage of this quality brand, and you know that you’re looking at a hardy and reliable instrument that’s trusted by band directors and students across the globe.

Very little on this particular saxophone is necessarily damaged either - there are no visible dents or dings anywhere except the bell, the bell isn’t bent, the neck is in good condition and isn’t bent or dented but needs a recork, and the keys are all there but should be repadded, as the pads are worn pretty well from prior use. The lacquer loss is about 25%, there’s minimal oxidation and many of the keys are shinier than I expected.
