Spode indented edge Pearlware blue tureen stand plate in "The Net" pattern.

Date is circa 1810 - 1815

Open crescent mark in blue to the bottom (similar to Worcester, Caughly & Lowestoft marks)

Chinese inspired design with a central circular medallion of cross foremost of a sunflower on a net background within a band frame of scrolls and flowers enclosed by four chinoiserie Medallions of pagodas in a ground of leave and flowers, the design extends to the edge of Plate.  This was one of the most complex of Spode's Chinese inspired designs.

Indented edge, rim foot to the bottom

This is a delightful little stand for a sauce tureen but is lovely piece on its own.

Overall in excellent condition with a few minor signs of wear mainly underneath.

Measures just under 6.5" long and 4.75" wide, height is 7/8"
