Date is circa 1835
The scene depicts Nuneham Courtenay in Oxfordshire, which was the seat of the Earl Harcourt, set in grounds laid out by Capability Brown around 1780.
Overall condition is very good, with the ....
- the tureen having light crazing to the glaze with staining to the inside of the bowl, there are 2 tight hairlines to the rim which are difficult to see, pin head size hole to the glaze again not easy to see, and a couple of firing blemishes, and
- the lid having light crazing to the glaze, couple of tiny chips to the edge, and a couple of firing blemishes, and
- the stand having light crazing to the glaze, couple of minor chips to the stand rim, and a couple of firing blemishes
Overall a very attractive tureen with its lid sitting on its stand, the patterns are crisp and clear and looks fabulous on display.Measures are
- tureen is 8.5cm in height, 18.5cm in length, and 11cm wide
- lid is 7.5cm in height, 15.5cm in length, and 11.5cm wide
- stand is 2cm high, 20.5cm in length, and 14cm wide
when display together the height is 16.5cm, length of 20.5, and width of 14cm
