Here is a large vintage size 29 cms oval shaped casserole dish from the renowned French company Nomar (part of the Staub group). The casserole dish is made from enamelled cast iron and is in a vibrant graduated cerise red colour, which goes well with cerise Le Creuset cookware. It measures 29 cms length x 23 cms width x 11 cms height. And it holds 4.7 litres when filled to the brim. So a good large capacity for cooking family size meals!

The internal enamel is seasoned with stains and marks from years of use, but the cooking surface is still shiny, with minimal nicks or scratches. The dish is perfect for slow cooking and braising. Its dimpled lid allows steam to condense which creates succulent, flavourful dishes.

The exterior cerise red enamel is lovely and shiny with a few wear and tear marks and scratches on the base.

Overall, a well used - and well loved - vintage casserole dish which has many more years of cooking still to do!
