Talk about Lo-Fi! The Realistic Concertmate 500 is the Radio Shack-branded version of the Casio SK-1 8 bit PCM sampling keyboard. It has 32 mini piano keys, four-note polyphony, and a sample rate of 9.38 kHz for 1.4 seconds of sampling time, a built-in microphone, line level and microphone inputs for sampling, and an internal speaker and line out. It also features a small number of four-note polyphonic preset analog and digital instrument voices, and a simple additive synth voice. And don't forget the preset rhythms, featuring the usual Rock, March, Samba, etc beats.
You will be the ENVY of your Noise, Hip Hop, House, etc friends when you whip this bad boy out. It's also a hoot at parties!
This unit is in VERY good shape. All buttons and sliders work as they should. There are no cracks, stains, missing parts, etc. There is some light scratching, but it IS pushing 40 years old, after all. The battery compartment is in good shape. An Archer power supply is included. I don't think it's the original, but it works fine. You can also use 5 AA batteries.
It's Retro time!
Please excuse the weird lighting.
Thanks for looking!
