Original dog dish that is correct for 1955 and 1956 Chevy 1/2-ton pickups and delivery vans.  This cap has much of its original paint that is somewhat worn from road sand wear.  This makes for nice vintage patina if it becomes a shop wall hanger.  Or, it is a very good candidate for restoration with minor metalwork needed.  It is basically very straight with only a few stone dings around the outer edge of the center blue area and really only one additional ding around the rest of the white area.  All of these are easily accessible from the back.  There is surface rust only and the rim edges are straight. Hard to find them much nicer.
