This Technics SL-1210 MK2 turntable is a must-have for any DJ. With its S-shaped tonearm and high torque drive, you can be sure that your vinyl collection will sound great. RCA Leads require an easy repair job although still work. The head shell (cover is damaged / dropped on the floor). This is approx £40 to replace although the original cover is 90% good…. It’s missing one hinge on the rear (a few quid to replace), and missing the centre spacer (won’t require it, unless you playing your grandads Charleston !!) …they’re £5 to replace so spare me the tears and messages asking for a discount.

It’ll cost you about £50 to service it (although not required), by somebody who knows what they’re doing, £45 for the lid and spacer. A bit of TLC with a cotton bud and some very weak cleaning solution. It’s not rocket science to brighten them up.

The deck is a great asset, and has been sat stationary for over 10 years in one position at home next to 5 x others, and used by several ….

( no …. a lot of)…. very famous DJ’s … there’s history on this baby, and if it could talk it’s got some great stories….

Think 1990’s DJ’s from the Ibiza era and you’re on your way down memory lane. I can’t name these people for obs reasons.
