Very RARE, #2000 georgeous1998 Nylint nickel anniversary tether car, one of 2,000 ever made. Mint in original unopened box. This was one of Nylint's finest and final cars ever made. The car, wheels and tires are real the engine is NOT. Nylint includes a liability disclaimer for those who install real engines and race them. Weighs over 2 pounds and 91/2 inches long.
NOTE: Nylint made many different products over the years with the Nickel car being their most iconic product ever!
This car was the remaining inventory when Nylint closed the plant in '99 as one of their final products and sold in 1998 for $200 (I have the brochure which is included) Very collectable d now 25 years old. New/old stock
This car is a modeled after real midget cars and tether cars that raced in the 50's. All the paperwork is included including the disclaimer.
I believe I'm the only one on EBay selling this rare car from the now Closed Nylint plant.
