SOUTHLAND HARMONIC OVERDRIVE is a drive pedal with higher gain based on the circuit of Greer Amps' representative overdrive LIGHTSPEED ORGANIC OVERDRIVE.
This is an overdrive with two clipping stages that can be sufficiently distorted even on its own by NICK GREER, who pursues distortion. The wide-range design focuses on the mids but extends to the presence component, so you won't feel the poor separation during chord play that is common with overdrives. It also has a good picking response even when the distortion is set deep, making it the perfect overdrive for players who seek deep distortion due to the responsiveness of transparent overdrives.
Although it has plenty of gain on its own, it can also be used as a booster by combining it with a distortion amplifier with moderate settings.
