This is an absolutely stunning antique Chinese alter Desk carved out of huanghuali wood. It is from around the republic period which puts it right around 100 years old. The quality of craftsmanship on it is quite good and everything still fits up nice and tight on it. The Wood has some light cracks in it just from drying out over the years, but the wax finish on it is still very nice. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition. Very nice scholars item.
