The engine is a 351 Cleveland with a 2 barrel carburetor.

The transmission is a C6 automatic with floor shift.

The car has factory AC, PS, PB and power windows. The rear convertible window is glass.

Just about everything on the car was new or rebuilt when it was restored.

The interior, except maybe the dash pad, is all new reproduction -- seats, door panels, carpet.

I don’t believe there was any rust or rust repairs done to the car, at least I couldn’t find anything.  Everything is clean or covered with undercoating.

The car runs and drives perfect.  It has no oil leaks, the transmissions shifts as it should, and it steers and stops as it should.

We purchased this about 6 years ago from a friend who just got divorced and needed to sell as he had no place to keep it.

The car was restored about 10 years ago as an XR7 with all the correct badges but is just the standard convertible as we found out when checking VIN Numbers.

My wife liked the medium aqua color which is why we purchased it.   I have 11 other old cars and didn’t really need another one.  She has decided to sell as she rarely drives it - what little old car driving she does is with a Shay Model A.

In the 6 years we have had it, there have been less than 1000 miles put on it.

Although everything on the cars works there are a few minor problems:

- the driver door panel fits poorly and is a little loose,

- the dash pad has a little sag to it,

- both the driver door and passenger door windows are slow going up.
