On offer today on Ebay is this unusual, heavy, beautiful antique vintage natural salmon Nigerian coral beads, interesting cornerless cube brass or metal alloy beads above, and small textured brass beads below, please inspect the photos with your zoom as these beads are in as-found condition, beautifully smooth and with natural markings as you see in all the photos taken from different angles. These are very old beads with coral colours found in the olden days before coral 'bleach' as we hear about in the news which spoils coral reefs due to acidity, hot sun, pollution etc. The earrings are heavy, and weigh in at a total of 18.7 grams which is indeed heavy for such earrings! Length from top of these French fish hooks to bottom of earrings = 48.0 mm or just under 2.00". They are stacked onto a brass pin with supporting small textured metal bead and the ear fittings may be altered to plain leverbacks, 4 mm brass studs with surgical steel posts, plain fish hooks, kidney wires with lucite pale orange cabochons, or gold-plated screw-ins or clip-ons for those without pierced ears, please message us if you actually prefer one of the above alternative ear fittings and we can exchange them in a jiffy!  Please note the replacement value of such beads is increasing over time. These beads appear to be natural Nigerian carved stone-type coral, not dyed or heat-treated and with as-found black markings as you see in the photos. These are heavy earrings so it is advised to have thick-gauge ear fittings, they currently have the ball fish hooks in darkened bronze-tone or antiqued gold-plated as per all the photos, just message us if you prefer leverbacks or clips etc as per photos 5 and 6.
