Up for your consideration is this large and stunning, over 3 inch ancient Byzantine silver & gold cross. This museum quality cross, is magnificent and master hand forged. Inset with 40 ancient hand cut, authentic gemstones, delicate gold flowers, and enamel overlay. The workmanship on the back is as magnificent as the front.  This came out of an estate in Far Hills, New Jersey, and had been in the family for 4 generations. Believed to had been gifted to a distant family member by the pope.
