The Jennings Brothers Metal Desk Clock 1180 Gothic Tombstone Running Mechanical Wind Up 4” Tall

 

Up for bid is a mid-century clock made by The Jennings Brothers Manufacturing out Bridgeport Connecticut.  The clock is housed in a metal case in a possible tombstone or gothic design.  This case is marked JB with 1180 which is for Jennings Brothers and case style of 1180.  The dial has J B Co on it in gothic style writing.  The clock does wind and runs for over 24 hours and was around 3-4 minutes fast after several tests.  The case measures 4 ¼ inches wide by 4 inches tall by 3 inches deep.  The case is in good condition except for some of the paint flaking off or wear from winding.  See Pictures.
