I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This copy is in decent overall reading condition considering its age, with a solid spine and good/easily legible overall inside pages (photo#23 example). Its main flaw is some moisture waves/depressions that affect its covers and ~10 pages in from each cover. Otherwise, it has some mostly lighter signs and external signs of wear, all detailed below.

**Photo#3:
-Spine edge: Small indent near its middle, shows on the adjacent covers as ~1/2" indents. Some light/mostly small sections of color breaking mainly around its middle.

**Photo#4:
-Upper spine corner: Some scuffing around it.

**Photo#5:
-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing.

**Photo#6:
-Front cover top edge: ~1/2" scuff at its middle, otherwise light levels of shelf-wear/scuffing.
-Outer corner: Small scuff/bend, goes thru ~20 pages as a light bend.

**Photo#7:
-Front cover bottom edge: ~1/2" scuff/indent towards outer corner, otherwise light levels of shelf-scuffing along it.
-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/4 pages as a light bend.

**Photo#8:
-Back cover top edge: Tiny indent/scuff near the outer corner, otherwise light if any shelf-wear/scuffing.
-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes lightly thru ~20 pages.

**Photo#9:
-Back cover bottom edge: Small indent/scuff near its middle, otherwise shelf-scuffing along it.
-Outer corner: ~3/4" crease around it (photo#10 w/illumination). Small scuff/bend/tear at extreme corner, goes thru ~1/2 pages as a light bend.

**Additionally: Book's main flaw is some liquid/water damage affecting parts of each cover. On its front, it shows as ~8" of light depressions/waves near the page edge (photo#11 w/illumination). It shows as moderate depressions/waves in similar locations on the first ~5 pages (photo#12,13 examples), two light ~2" patches on the next ~5 pages (photo#14), they pretty much disappear after (photo#15). On its back cover, it shows as a ~5" patch around the top outer corner (photo#16 w/illumination), and a ~4" patch around the bottom outer corner (photo#17 w/illumination). They show as strong depressions/waves on the last ~6 pages (photos#18,19 examples), as light ones on the next ~5 pages (photo#20), and more or less dissipate afterwards (photo#21). Effects on pages is shown from a outer edge perspective in photo#22.

Front cover possesses a light ~8" vertical indent near the spine edge, and a nearby ~3/4" crease/depression (photo#11). ~Four small-to-~1/2" indents/depressions around the page edge/center. Back cover has ~six small-to-~1/2" indents/depressions around it. Two ~2" patches of light/small scratches around the spine edge.

I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs - either message me before completing purchase for a pre-payment price adjustment, or alternatively I can provide a refund afterwards. Thanks, and have a tremendous day!
