The May 1, 1758 New Jersey issue was the 8th War Issue, with the purpose of funding French and Indian War efforts. This note was printed by James Parker in Woodbridge New Jersey with red and black ink and a sage leaf nature print on the reverse. This 6 Pound bill was the highest denomination of the series. Incredibly neat note with a large State Arms and interesting symbols such as sun faces. Vibrant orange/red ink throughout. Only 1,834 examples were originally printed.
