Sven Bang apre il suo negozio di pipe e tabacco nel 1968. Da subito si affida a una serie di artigiani per produrre le pipe a suo nome, ma solo dopo qualche anno costruisce il duo che guiderà l'azienda fino alla cessazione definitiva della produzione nel 2017: Per Hansen e Ulf Noltensmeier. I due producevano in modo totalmente indipendente l'uno dall'altro, nel corso del tempo, convinsero Sven Bang a puntare sulla qualità piuttosto che sulla quantità riducendo decisamente la produzione. Nel 1984 l'azienda passa da Sven a Per e Ulf, l'unico cambio di rilievo è la marchiatura della città che diventa in lingua danese.
La gradazione delle pipe lisce Bang andava da 5 fino a B, ma qualche C è apparsa nel corso del tempo. Inoltre, Per e Ulf firmavano a nome proprio le loro pipe più belle numerandole con l'anno e il numero di produzione.
La pipa è una boccetta asimmetrica con inserto in bosso.
Il bocchino è in ebanite senza filtro.

Sven Bang opens his pipe and tobacco shop in 1968. He immediately relies on a series of craftsmen to produce the pipes for him, but only after a few years does he build the duo that will lead the company until the definitive cessation of production in 2017: For Hansen and Ulf Noltensmeier. The two produced totally independently of each other, over time, they convinced Sven Bang to focus on quality rather than quantity by decisively reducing production. In 1984 the company passed from Sven to Per and Ulf, the only significant change being the branding of the city which became Danish.
The graduation of Bang smooth pipes ranged from 5 up to B, but some C appeared over time. Furthermore, Per and Ulf signed their most beautiful pipes in their own name, numbering them with the year and production number.
The pipe is an asymmetrical bottle with a boxwood insert.
The mouthpiece is in ebonite without filter.
