Antique American Silver Advertising Thimble

Weniger & Co. * Circa 1920s

This little silver advertising thimble has a wide band prominently engraved "Weniger & Co. 915 Arch Street". They were in the banking and steamship business in Philadelphia and I'll include a listing on their company in the 1920s directory, "Who's Who in Finance, Banking and Insurance".

The condition is excellent with no holes, dents, or other damage and it has no marks. It's about an American size 8 (15.1 mm diameter opening). This thimble is shown on p. 47 (plate 54) of Gay Ann Rogers' book American Silver Thimbles.

I stand behind everything that I offer and guarantee that it is exactly as presented.
