Truly no clue exactly how this works, but pretty sure its a simple card reader. Presume SD cards, but might hold other cards. We are not sure. We think it worked with a variety of SD cards, but may need an EyeFi compatible card not included, but are easily found on eBay and other online sites.
----Not everyone has expensive wireless technology, nor is it needed for some people!! If you have an older computer or laptop with regular USB, this might be ideal for you to be able to transfer camera images, pdfs, other scans saved to SD, from that card to your computer.

----Any software needed can be found online for download on a site called TechSpot.
We make no claims or warranties, Original owner stated when last used, it worked just fine. Thus we are pricing it low in hopes someone can use it. Some of them are going for $20 and up!!!
